Weekend Staycation at Danat Al Ain Resort: A Relaxing Escape

Last weekend, we had a relaxing staycation at Danat Al Ain Resort, the perfect spot to unwind in the garden city of Al Ain.

Majlis

We stayed in room 650, an executive suite in a peaceful corner of the resort, with a large balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The view was lovely, and the setting was ideal for a quiet getaway.

We booked a half-board package through Booking.com, which gave us a great deal – 730 AED instead of the 1200 AED rate for direct booking. Our dinner and breakfast were at the Arabesque restaurant. While the dinner was okay with fewer selections, the breakfast was impressive. They offered continental, Arabic, and Indian dishes, and we were surprised to find South Indian options like idli, vada, chutney, and sambhar in the breakfast spread, a rare treat in UAE resorts.

Before breakfast, we enjoyed some time by the pool. The resort also has a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and plunge pool, which added to the relaxation. We even squeezed in a workout at the gym.

In addition to Arabesque, the resort has other dining options and pubs, including McGettigan’s and Tanjore Indian Restaurant, giving guests plenty of choices for meals.

Overall, the combination of a comfortable stay, beautiful views, and great facilities made our staycation at Danat Al Ain Resort a rejuvenating experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend escape!
